That of a highly sensitive and deeply empathetic person, who, through sound (self)care, has learned to embrace her sensitivity with compassion, turning it into a strength and a source of balance🌿
My name is Petra.
I used to see my sensitivity as a burden.
Today, I see it as my inner compass.

my journey with singing bowls began with an unexpected experience.
One day, at a friend’s home in Germany, I found myself in a bright room, open to the garden.
In the middle, a massage table; along the wall, bowls on a shelf; and in the corner, a huge singing bowl.
« What’s that? » My curiosity was instantly sparked.
« Do you want to try? » I didn’t need to be asked twice to find myself standing inside that large singing bowl.
The first vibrations under my feet surprised me. An image of an earthquake came to mind.
Boom …. boom … 🌊

I stayed in the bowl for only two minutes… but it was enough to awaken my curiosity.
Four months later, in the autumn mist, at the foot of Mount Olympus in Greece, I began my first Peter Hess sound massage training.
Then, as the initial surprise faded, the vibrations travelled from my feet to the top of my head.
A gentle calm began to spread through me.🌿
That’s when I realized how deeply these sessions were helping me.
I learned that when we try to control everything,
we sometimes forget how to simply let go.
And then… everything changed

As long as we stay in a state of waiting — even for good news — our body remains under chronic stress.
We were waiting for our work permit for Canada… one month, two months, three months...
So, I took out my singing bowls again to complete my professional certification, thinking:
" Who knows what I’ll do on the other side of the ocean? "
During the first sound massage, as the training resumed, only one thought kept repeating in my mind :
" I have to relax… I have to relax… "
It took me two months to truly let go.

And then ... " No matter what, I’ll resonate here… or on the other side of the ocean. "
That’s when I began offering sound therapy sessions alongside my work as an architect.
A year later, our work permit for Canada was finally approved.
The therapeutic singing bowls have helped me to...
… stop chasing perfection and finally let go.
… feel happier by releasing what isn’t essential.
… respect my limits and my needs.
… live with more trust in life.
… strengthen my body, once weakened after meningitis.
… digest better — both food and emotions.
… find inner calm and take care of my health.

They’ve helped me transform my hypersensitivity and empathy into my inner compass. 💛
